Highland is a "We School"
Thirteen grade 4 and 5's and two teachers from Highland were thrilled to participate in "We Day" on November 16th at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium. Free the Children's "We Day" inspires young people to care about local and global social justice issues. Speakers from all walks of life provided insights regarding global issues and shared massages of hope and examples of action. Our "We Day" participants are preparing to share their leanings with the school at our December Celebration Assembly, and all students will be invited to vote for the focus of our Global Action. Together, we can make a real difference!
School Website   (listed below) When you are not sure about dates of activities at Highland school please check the website to see if what you need is there. All PA days are also listed. We try to keep it as current as possible. It just helps with the hundreds of calls that go through the office every day if you are able to get your questions answered via the Internet. Thank you for your help.
